Job summary

Anne Corder Recruitment is seeking an experienced Employee Relations Advisor to join a busy HR team on an interim basis in Huntingdon. The role focuses on high-volume ER caseloads, advising managers, and driving cases to resolution.

This is a mostly remote role with one day per week in the office. Flexible full-time or part-time hours are considered, with an immediate start and a view to reducing the ER backlog.

Qualifications

• Experienced ER Advisor / Employee Relations Specialist with significant ER exposure.
• Able to manage multiple ER cases from start to resolution.
• Confident advising and coaching managers on employment matters.

Responsibilities

• Managing a high-volume ER caseload from start to resolution.
• Advising and coaching managers on a wide range of employee relations matters.
• Managing disciplinary, grievance, absence, performance and capability cases.
• Supporting more complex and sensitive ER situations.
• Ensuring cases progress efficiently and don’t stall.
• Providing clear, confident advice in line with legislation and policy.
• Producing documentation and maintaining case records.
• Collaborating with HR/People to reduce ER backlog.
