We are partnering with a globally recognised household name in their industry, seeking an experienced Senior Competition Lawyer to join their team on a six-month fixed-term contract, with the possibility for the right person to go permanent. This is a fantastic chance to be part of a world-class legal team working on both domestic and international competition law matters.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide expert legal counsel on competition law, with a focus on abuse of dominance cases.
2. Advise on both domestic and international competition law issues across a range of exciting projects.
3. Collaborate with the legal team to deliver high-quality legal solutions with a commercial perspective.
4. Manage complex legal matters efficiently and with strong attention to detail.

Requirements:

1. Extensive experience in competition law, with a strong understanding of abuse of dominance.
2. A commercial mindset with the ability to work at pace and under pressure.
3. Ability to approach legal challenges pragmatically and strategically.
4. Experience gained from both private practice and in-house roles is preferred, though candidates from private practice alone will be considered.
5. Immediate availability or ability to start at short notice is highly desirable.
