This is a fully remote role, though there is the option to work from regional hub offices if preferred. Candidates must be based in the UK as the team meets in person for legal strategy meetings on occasion.
The Role
You will be joining a supportive and collaborative in-house legal team currently made up of Legal Counsels, a Senior Legal Counsel, and a Head of Legal. You will take full ownership of your matters, from pre-litigation stages to managing external counsel, and will be responsible for all your own admin as there is no paralegal or PA support. You will have your own matters but also support more senior Solicitors on larger cases.
The team advises across a range of contentious construction matters and occasionally handles related commercial litigation. Candidates from a commercial litigation background will be considered if they can demonstrate a minimum of 3 years' experience handling construction disputes.
