Job summary

Confidential, an established organisation based in Birmingham, is seeking an organised and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join its fast-paced transactional finance team on an interim basis.

You will manage end-to-end sales ledger processes, generate and distribute high-volume invoices to corporate clients, review cash allocations, and match BACS payments, ensuring accurate reconciliations and timely billing.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in Accounts Receivable or Billing.
• Strong numerical accuracy with attention to transactional errors.
• Experience using ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end sales ledger processes for weekly and monthly billing cycles.
• Generate and distribute high-volume invoices to corporate clients.
• Review daily cash allocations and match incoming BACS payments to client accounts.
• Handle complex statement reconciliations and investigate ledger discrepancies.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for external billing queries.
