Dovetail & Slate Ltd. is seeking an experienced finance officer to maintain ledgers, post journals, perform month-end routines and support finance reporting. You will work with the finance team to ensure accurate records and timely responses to queries.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines and proficiency with finance systems and spreadsheets. This is a mid-level contract position with hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Experience in an accounts or finance officer role.
• Confident using finance systems and spreadsheets.
• Able to work to deadlines and manage a varied workload.

Responsabilités

• Maintaining accurate financial records and processing transactions across purchase and sales ledgers.
• Preparing and posting journals and supporting month-end routines.
• Carrying out reconciliations and resolving queries promptly.
• Responding to finance queries from budget holders, suppliers and colleagues.
• Supporting wider finance reporting as required.
