Job summary

Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for an Accommodation Broker Co-Ordinator to join Middlesborough Borough Council on an initial 3-month temporary contract. This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

You will liaise with providers to arrange interim/temporary accommodation, record all interactions accurately on appropriate systems, and work with partners to ensure smooth placements in line with policies.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer service or administrative environment.
• Proficient with ICT packages such as Outlook, Excel and Word and able to use client recording systems.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and build relationships with partners.
• DBS clearance (Basic) is required.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of interim/temporary accommodation services, liaising with providers to understand vacancies and pressures.
• Liaise day-to-day with Council colleagues and providers to establish working relationships with internal and external partners.
• Accurately record interactions and information for placements on recording systems, using trauma-informed language.
• Coordinate information for brokerage, contact providers to arrange accommodation, and organise transport and start of placements.
