Job summary

Belmont Recruitment are seeking an Accommodation Broker Co-Ordinator to join Middlesborough Borough Council on an initial 3-month temporary contract. This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

You will liaise with providers to understand vacancies, record interactions accurately in case systems, and coordinate interim accommodation logistics with partners and transport arrangements as required.

Qualifications

• Experience of working in a customer service or administrative environment.
• Effective use of ICT packages such as Outlook, Excel and Word, and client recording systems.
• Ability to work constructively as part of a team and to establish working relationships with partners.
• Basic DBS clearance.

Responsibilities

• Support the effective delivery of interim/temporary accommodation services, liaising with providers to understand vacancies and service pressures.
• Liaise daily with colleagues and external partners to establish effective working relationships.
• Accurately record interactions and information in case recording systems in line with policies.
• Assimilate and distribute information relevant to brokerage, arranging interim accommodation and transport when needed.
