Job Title: Support Worker - Intensive Service

Salary: £12.50 per hour

Hours: Full-time and Part-time - 8 until 8 with set rota pattern days and nights. Bank available

Please note - this is an intensive service. Previous experience is preferred but full face-to-face training is provided.

Aspirations Care is looking for experienced Intensive Support Workers to join our dedicated team in Stafford. The service consists of 9 individual one-bedroom bungalows, each with its own private garden!

You will be supporting males and females with challenging behaviour. You need to be resilient and proactive, confident and willing to access the community with the people we support, and possess excellent communication skills.

Full training is provided, including one week online and one week face-to-face, covering all role requirements.

What will the job involve?

• Assisting individuals to improve their knowledge, skills, and abilities
• Providing stimulation and motivation through conversation and social activities
• Assisting with meal preparation, cooking, and cleaning
• Booking and attending healthcare appointments with the people we support
• Reporting safeguarding concerns to management
• Maintaining records, care plans, and risk assessments
• Enhancing the quality of life for the people we support
