We are looking for an Adolescent Support Worker to support children and young people to remain at home.
This role involves working with children and young people who are open to children’s social care services.
It is essential that you have experience working with “Children & Families” and hold at least a Level 3 NVQ in Children & Young People.

You should be passionate about working with Children, Young People, and their families, with a reassuring presence, calmness in a crisis, and the ability to work with families in their homes to help them make necessary changes to stay together.
You are a team player with a flexible approach, willing to work shifts that include evenings and weekends.
We are recruiting for two positions. The first is a full-time, permanent Adolescent Support Worker. Edge of Care supports young people at risk of entering care to stay with their families, using evidence-based practices to help families make positive changes.
This role is exempt under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act, and appointment is conditional upon a satisfactory DBS check.
You will provide intensive support to young people aged 8–18 and their families, typically over 6–12 weeks. The work focuses on strengths and coping strategies, combining practical support with challenge to address complex needs.
Case work includes issues like family conflict, absence from home, sexual exploitation, educational challenges, anti-social behavior, and substance abuse. You will work closely with other agencies to improve behaviors, relationships, confidence, aspiration, employability, living conditions, and health.
As an Adolescent Support Worker, you will manage a portfolio of cases, working directly in homes, providing flexible crisis response, conducting initial assessments, and delivering intensive interventions.
