Blue Triangle invites applications for an Intensive Support Worker in Kilmarnock, delivering person-centred, trauma-informed assistance to people in supported housing. The role covers 17.5 hours per week on a rota including weekends, based at Kilmarnock Bank Street.

You’ll help individuals sustain tenancy, build life skills, and progress toward independent community living while adhering to SSSC standards. Salary is reviewed regularly with a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with vulnerable people or challenging behaviour is preferred.
• Commitment to care practice in line with Scottish standards and policies.
• Ability to relate empathetically and support independence.

Responsibilities

• Provide trauma-informed, person-centred, wellbeing-focused support.
• Assist newcomers and existing residents in settled tenancy pathways.
• Monitor progress using SHARP tool to achieve outcomes.
• Support transitions from accommodation to community life.
