Control Risks Group is seeking an experienced security professional to join a team delivering intelligence-led protection for client personnel, assets and sites in Birmingham. The role requires 12-hour shifts on a 4 on / 4 off rotation (24/7/365), offering opportunities to coordinate incident response, patrols and rapid reports.

You will protect client premises, work with stakeholders, and ensure safety and compliance with SOPs while maintaining high standards of reliability and presentation.

Qualifications

• Significant frontline security or incident response experience.
• Excellent stakeholder and client service skills.
• Decisive with problem-solving under pressure.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Understanding of equality and diversity principles.
• IT proficiency.

Responsabilités

• Provide specialist intelligence-led asset and property protection to client sites.
• Respond to incidents and conduct patrols as required.
• Provide information reports to fill intelligence gaps.
• Ensure incident management conforms with SOPs.
• Maintain health, safety, and wellbeing of staff and public.
• Maintain equipment and vehicles in safe condition.
• Mentor contract personnel on incident response.
• Support creation of training material for the team and client.
• Promote compliance with project and company policies and SOPs.
• Assist with site reviews and audits as required.
• Conduct penetration testing as required.
