Job Description
Integration/M&A Senior Project Manager Responsibilities:
- Drive large integration projects, consolidating business locations.
- Manage all project lifecycle activities for complex, medium-term projects impacting multiple departments, with medium to high risk, scope, and complexity.
- Oversee project lifecycle and budget in line with the bank's Project Management Methodology, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Lead and motivate diverse project teams across the organization to ensure timely delivery with minimal disruption.
- Plan and complete all project artefacts including business case, regulatory compliance, project roadmap, budget, testing, and handover.
- Identify risks and escalate issues to senior management with mitigation plans.
- Ensure proper governance and transparency throughout the project.
- Ensure deliverables meet compliance, regulatory standards, and project objectives.
- Adapt to ongoing changes, document impacts, and implement mitigation plans.
- Maintain focus on delivering and realizing project benefits.
The Successful Candidate
Experience and Skills:
- Degree or significant specialist knowledge; industry-recognized project management qualification preferred (e.g., PMP, APM).
- Knowledge of Capital Markets or corporate banking activities and regulatory frameworks.
- Experience delivering Capital Markets or corporate banking projects.
- Experience with Target Operating Models, M&A, Divestments, or business integration projects.
- End-to-end project delivery experience within financial services.
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
- Practical, proactive, and capable of working under pressure to meet deadlines.
