Job summary

GTR & Network Rail Sussex is seeking an experienced Change Lead to drive integration change across two organisations. The role focuses on translating design outputs into practical changes for local teams and embedding new ways of working to deliver lasting benefits for colleagues and customers.

You will work with the central GBR Change Management Office to ensure alignment with industry standards, assess impacts, develop engagement plans, and support readiness across management layers.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a talented Change Lead to play a pivotal role in delivering one of the most significant integration programmes across GTR and Network Rail Sussex. This is a unique opportunity to shape how two organisations work together, ensuring that change is successfully embedded and delivers lasting benefits for colleagues, customers, and the railway.

What You'll Do

The Change Lead will be responsible for leading change activities for GTR and Sussex, as part of the Integration Project. There will be close working with the central GBR Change Management Office to ensure alignment with wider industry to turn design outputs into clear, practical changes for local teams.

Key responsibilities include assessing change impacts across teams and functions, developing and delivering stakeholder engagement approaches, supporting leader and manager readiness, assessing organisational readiness for key integration milestones, identifying and managing change risks and resistance and measuring adoption and embedding of new ways of working.
