Job summary

Victim Support is seeking an Integrated Support Service Worker to join our Stafford-based team, serving across Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent. The role links the behaviour change service with the victim service and requires travel to community venues and VS offices.

You will share risk information, exchange referrals, contact victims, and provide direct support to partners and ex-partners according to their wishes. We offer training and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Willingness to travel across Staffordshire and work across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• the link worker between the behaviour change service and the victim service;
• ensuring risk information is shared appropriately and used to inform internal and external actions;
• communicating between the two services; exchanging referrals and information; contacting victims and liaising with them;
• delivering support to all-risk level victims during programme intervention and beyond, with a caseload and direct support to partners/ex partners as requested;
• ensuring partner agencies are aware of the integrated service and have due regard to its purpose;
• delivering partner training and/or awareness sessions for enhancing relationships with partners and other stakeholders.
