Job summary

Victim Support in Cardiff operates a hybrid working model, combining regular home-based work with flexible base locations. The role focuses on providing ongoing support to victims of crime, helping people cope and recover, and delivering person-centered casework.

You will manage a caseload in the Cardiff & Vale area, liaising with local and national teams to ensure appropriate outcomes and KPI achievement. Travel to client sites is required as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Strong personal resilience and flexibility to work virtually with different teams.
• Understanding of the impact of crime on victims.
• Experience of working with clients to achieve outcomes based on needs and risk assessments.
• Knowledge and understanding of confidentiality and safe working practices.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work from home effectively, both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for clients in the Cardiff & Vale area or contracted region.
• Carry a caseload of clients within each allocated area as directed.
• Maintain case management records, develop personal support plans, and refer clients as required.
• Collaborate with local teams and a national team to ensure outcomes and KPI targets are met.
