Job summary

RTX is seeking a Technical Author to join the Integrated Product Support and Training Team in Malvern. You will develop and deliver technical documentation and training materials, and prepare manuals in government formats.

The role involves classroom and on-the-job training using MS PowerPoint, managing training plans, and coordinating with programme management and engineering. Occasional travel in the UK and overseas is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in producing technical manuals and training materials.
• Experience with ISR Exploitation Systems is desirable.
• Ability to develop and manage complex training plans under conflicting requirements.
• Experience with MS Office for production, control and amendment of technical manuals.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver technical documentation and training materials.
• Prepare technical manuals in AESP or US Government formats.
• Provide classroom and on‑job training using MS PowerPoint.
• Manage training plans and coordinate with programme management and engineering teams.
• Support preparation of IPS/Supportability documentation.
