Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Integrated Midwife (Band 5/6) to join our Torbay Hospital team in Torquay. The role involves 37.5 hours per week with night and weekend shifts to provide 24-hour coverage.

You will deliver antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care within our integrated midwifery model, mentor colleagues and work with the Devon LMS to maintain high-quality, personal care for women and babies.

Qualifications

• Registered Midwife and on-going professional development.
• Completed a preceptor programme.
• Evidence of practice in NHS settings.

Responsabilités

• Assess care needs and develop plans across antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal periods.
• Work autonomously within guidelines and professional codes.
• Mentor junior staff and students within the team.
• Lead professional for low-risk women and provide care in multiple settings.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support women with complex needs.
• Promote informed choice, equality and safe care, and participate in annual appraisal.
