Job summary

North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a part-time Integrated Midwife (Band 6) for 15 hours per week based with Allerdale community midwives at Workington Community Hospital. The role includes antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care and a homebirth service in collaboration with Copeland colleagues.

Qualifications

• Provide woman-centred, safe, effective midwifery care across antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal periods.
• Demonstrate adherence to the NMC code of professional conduct.
• Must hold a full driving licence and be willing to travel between sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality care to women and families in antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal periods.
• Work with multidisciplinary team to achieve best outcomes for women.
• Support home birth services and liaise with colleagues for continuity of care.
