Job summary

University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust in Worthing is recruiting Band 6 Midwives across our maternity services to deliver safe, compassionate care across the pathway, from pregnancy through birth and the postnatal period, with autonomous practice and teaching responsibilities.

We welcome applications from experienced midwives who have completed a formal preceptorship or have NHS-level practice, with opportunities across inpatient, community, and continuity of care teams; interviews

Qualifications

• NMC registered midwife with current registration.
• Completed Preceptorship or Consolidated Practice in NHS setting.
• Up-to-date and proven skills across all areas of clinical practice.
• Mentorship or equivalent experience in maternity services.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate, evidence-based care across the maternity pathway.
• Provide leadership within clinical areas and contribute to teaching and service improvement.
• Support women, birthing people and families through pregnancy, birth and postnatal periods.
• Help deliver outstanding maternity services across University Hospitals Sussex.
• Participate in recruitment events and workforce planning.
