Job summary

Accenture is seeking an Insurance Architect to join the UK Insurance & Financial Services Architecture team. You will contribute to six pillars including Applications, Integration and Data, with a focus on AI, Cloud and Cyber Security, advising CIOs and Chief Architects on major investments.

You will shape enterprise artefacts, build client relationships and help shape next‑gen digital change for insurers and wealth managers, with mobility to onsite client work across Bath, Bristol, London and

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in technology roles in financial services, insurance or regulated industries.
• Knowledge of data architecture concepts including data modelling, integration, governance, visualisation and migration; tools such as Databricks or Snowflake.
• Ability to solve complex business problems at the business-technology interface.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences.
• Familiarity with at least one major industry platform (e.g. FNZ, SS&C, Pershing, Guidewire, Sapiens, Duck Creek, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics).
• Willingness to travel within the UK and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Contribute across all six pillars – focusing on Applications, Integration, Data, AI, Cloud and Cyber Security – and grow toward pillar specialist.
• Define and deliver enterprise and solution architecture artefacts (current/target state, roadmaps, transition states, integration patterns, capability maps).
• Familiarise and enhance industry reference architecture frameworks used with clients.
• Produce high-quality outputs on engagements from data integration designs to cloud strategy artefacts and proofs-of-concept.
• Engage stakeholders with clear analysis and presentations; contribute to thought leadership through blogs and events.
• Mentor junior colleagues and help grow the Insurance Architecture team.
