Job summary

Accenture UK & Ireland is looking for a Manager – Insurance Architect to join the Insurance Architecture team. The role centers on shaping digital change for leading insurers, with hybrid work across Bath, Bristol, and London.

You will lead architecture workstreams, shape roadmaps, and advise CIOs/CTOs on major investment plans, while collaborating across Accenture’s Industry and Enterprise teams. You will drive architectural artefacts, reference frameworks, and client outcomes, contributing to

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in technology roles, with FS/Insurance exposure and regulated environments.
• Solid knowledge of architecture concepts, especially Application and Data domains.
• Experience integrating multiple systems within an enterprise estate.
• Strong written and verbal communication to influence senior stakeholders.
• Familiarity with major industry platforms is preferred.
• Willingness to travel within the UK and occasionally internationally.

Responsibilities

• Contribute across six pillars on engagements, focusing on Applications, Integration and Data, plus AI, Cloud and Cyber Security.
• Lead technology advisory engagements and architecture workstreams in large programmes.
• Define enterprise and solution architecture artefacts for Insurance/FS clients.
• Shape industry reference architectures and contribute to client investment decisions.
• Lead client engagements from cloud strategy to architecture design and roadmaps.
• Support sales, proposals and commercial input with credible tech-led insights.
• Mentor colleagues and help grow the Insurance Architecture team.
