Location: Northampton
Salary: £23,300–£28,000 DOE, OTE circa £30,000
Hours: 37.5 per week

• Monday–Friday 09:00–17:30
• One Saturday in four, 09:00–13:00

Our client, a UK-leading, award-winning insurance provider, is seeking an Insurance Sales Consultant to join their Northampton team. This entry-level role offers full training and ongoing mentorship, delivering a solid foundation in insurance sales. The successful candidate will handle inbound calls generated by marketing campaigns and make outbound calls to prospects who have enquired online, learning to gather customer information, present tailored quotations and guide clients through policy options.

Key Duties

• Handle inbound calls from marketing campaigns and respond to email and online enquiries.
• Conduct outbound calls to prospects who have requested contact via e-commerce or email.
• Assess each client’s insurance requirements and present clear, tailored quotations.
• Advise on policy features, cover options and premium calculations to secure new business and renewals.
• Record all customer interactions and policy details accurately in the case-management system.
• Issue client care letters, policy documents and renewal reminders.
• Ensure compliance, data-protection regulations and company guidelines are adhered to.
• Liaise with underwriters, brokers and other stakeholders to resolve queries.
