Job summary

Fitch Group, headquartered in London and New York with a Glasgow office, seeks an Associate Director for Data Operations (Insurance) to drive data collection, quality, and governance. You will collaborate with Ratings, Solutions, and Product teams to ensure accurate data across platforms and support analytics using AI/ML.

The role emphasizes leadership, mentoring, and cross-functional stakeholder engagement within a hybrid work setup in Glasgow.

Qualifications

• Experience with Insurance financial data in financial institutions.
• Ability to lead and mentor teams.
• Experience with data governance and data collection processes.
• Knowledge of IFRS/GAAP is preferred.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee fundamental data collection for Fitch Group across Insurance line.
• Define collection methodologies to meet current and future needs.
• Document data definitions and standardised templates (Collibra).
• Provide training and guidance to outsource teams to ensure data quality.
• Lead monthly management reporting and quarterly stakeholder presentations.
• Explore and adopt AI/ML techniques to improve data workflows and decisioning.
