You will set performance standards, lead the team, manage insurer relationships and ensure regulatory compliance while collaborating with regional leadership and balancing customer outcomes with business objectives.

Qualifications

• An experienced people leader with a track record of delivering sales growth within a regulatory framework.
• Demonstrable management experience within insurance and knowledge of placement and insurer relationships.
• Proven ability to deliver top and bottom-line growth and to manage client relationships both organically and inorganically.
• Able to improve business performance, income and employee engagement in a regulated environment through effective sales planning.
• Strong commercial leadership with financial awareness and understanding of market dynamics, performance and drivers.
• Significant experience in managing a P&L budget.
• Robust understanding of business processes and capability to lead innovation and change.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across the organisation and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the Branch team to deliver excellent customer outcomes while meeting Consumer Duty requirements.
• Oversee risk management and ensure compliance with quality assurance standards, monitoring trends and implementing mitigations.
• Collaborate with the Regional Director to identify barriers to retention or new sales and promote growth opportunities.
• Highlight operational needs to the Regional Director to optimise resources, standardise processes and drive continuous improvement with meaningful MI.
