Marsh is recruiting three Insurance Business Development Executives (BDEs) to grow Marsh's SME commercial segment in Witham and Worcester. Each BDE focuses on direct-to-client acquisition and quick placement of commercial risks with premiums between £5,000 and £20,000.

The role emphasizes Commercial Combined, Contractors and related lines, requiring strong prospecting, quoting and disciplined pipeline management.

Qualifications

• 12+ months in commercial insurance sales with proven results.
• Know Commercial Combined, Contractors and £5k-£20k band.
• Comfortable with quoting portals, open-market placements, delegated authority or panel work.

Responsabilités

• Source, qualify and convert direct client opportunities (£5k-£20k).
• Move deals quickly with disciplined qualification, quoting and follow-up.
• Provide clear handovers to servicing teams and support retention in month 0-12.
• Feed insurer appetite and market insight into product development.
• Build direct client and introducer/referral partnerships that drive leads.
• Keep accurate records and follow Marsh policies.
