Job summary

Marsh Commercial is recruiting for an Associate Client Advisor / Trainee Insurance Broker in Cardiff. You will start on an 18-month apprenticeship funded programme and, upon completion, become a Client Advisor.

The role focuses on servicing a portfolio of clients, renewals, quotes and upselling insurance solutions. You’ll work within a supportive team with ongoing training through BPP, including Cert CII and a Level 3 Insurance Practitioner qualification, with clear paths for progression as you

Qualifications

Previous experience in a client-facing role is preferred.
Excellent customer service skills are essential.
Right to work in the UK or ROI (no visa sponsorship provided).
Minimum GCSEs at grades 9–4 including English and Maths.
Good attention to detail and ability to multitask.
Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent client service across account management for a dedicated portfolio.
Speak with clients daily via phone and email to manage renewals and queries.
Use insurance broking systems on a daily basis.
Analyse client needs and offer suitable insurance products to mitigate risk.
Ensure timely completion of tasks to maintain client satisfaction.
Build relationships with insurer partners to better serve clients.
Develop knowledge of major insurance classes through training and mentoring.
