Job summary

Howden offers an Insurance Personal Lines & Commercial Apprenticeship in Eastleigh starting September 2027. You’ll join a permanent role while completing an 18‑month development programme and earning £23,000 per year.

You’ll learn foundations of insurance, customer service and sales, with hands-on experience and structured training, and you’ll join one of the teams: Client Servicing, Claims, Insurance Sales or Renewals.

Qualifications

• Eligibility to work in the UK
• Lived permanently in the UK for the last 3 years
• GCSE English and Maths grade C/4 or equivalent
• No overlap with existing qualifications

Responsibilities

• Learn the foundations of insurance, customer service and sales via hands-on experience and structured training
• Support colleagues in finding suitable insurance solutions for clients
• Develop written communication by preparing professional client correspondence
• Build confidence talking with clients and insurers via email and phone
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and support renewals
