Howden is offering a structured apprenticeship opportunity in the UK, beginning with an induction into our Commercial & Schemes team. You will learn foundations of commercial insurance and how an Account Handler supports clients, while gaining practical experience and a recognised qualification over 18 months.

No insurance experience is required as training is provided. You will develop client communication, policy administration and relationship-building skills, with progression as you take on

Qualifikationen

• Confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills.
• Able to build positive relationships with clients, insurers and colleagues.
• Organised and detail‑oriented, able to manage multiple tasks.

Aufgaben

• Learn the foundations of commercial insurance and how an Account Handler supports clients.
• Draft clear and professional email correspondence for clients and insurers.
• Build confidence speaking with clients and insurers, via email and phone.
• Help gather and share information to manage policies and support client requests.
• Support maintaining accurate and up‑to‑date client records.
• Build long‑term relationships and provide excellent customer service.
• Learn how amendments to policies are managed and the policy renewals process.
