Version 1 is seeking a commercially driven Business Development Director to accelerate growth across the Insurance sector in the UK. You will drive pipeline origination, build executive-level relationships, and lead go-to-market strategies across life, pensions, brokers and general insurers.

The ideal candidate has deep industry knowledge, a track record of selling consulting or transformation services, and experience with cloud and AI-enabled solutions.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of insurance regulations and operating models.
• Proven sales or business development experience in Insurance Services.
• Experience in Life & Pensions, Broker or General Insurance in UK/Ireland.
• Exposure to AI/automation and cloud tech is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Account & Pipeline Development across insurance segments.
• Develop pursuit plans and account strategies aligned to policy administration and claims.
• Originate AI-led transformation opportunities with insurers and brokers.
• Collaborate with solution architects to craft tailored value propositions.
