Job summary

Marsh Portfolio Solutions (MPS) is seeking an Apprentice Administrative Assistant to support Fast Track Account Managers and Team Leaders. You will triage risks, prepare endorsements, chase documents, and maintain accurate workflow records in a fast-moving insurance environment.

This hands-on role suits organized, proactive individuals eager to learn. You’ll gain exposure to underwriting frameworks, policy administration, and cross-team collaboration from day one.

Qualifications

• 5 GCSEs at Grades 9–4, including English & Maths.
• Interest or experience in insurance operations, account administration or broking support.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise high-volume workload.
• Basic understanding of underwriting and policy administration processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with brokers, carriers and offshore teams.

Responsibilities

• Triage incoming risks, review submissions against Delegated Authority and UW framework, and prepare briefing notes for Account Managers.
• Draft, process, and chase endorsements; complete TSA and aggregate queries; ensure changes recorded in policy/workflow systems.
