Job summary

Select Recruitment Specialists Ltd is seeking an entry-level sales assistant for a well-established B2B instrumentation supplier in the UK. You’ll be the first point of contact, understand customer needs, and translate that into accurate quotes quickly.

Full training, an office-based role in a modern facility, and a clear route to develop your sales career are provided. Expect outbound calls, quotes with suppliers, and close collaboration with directors on larger opportunities.

Qualifications

• A technical or science degree, or equivalent analytical experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication with customers.
• Willingness to train and develop in sales processes.

Responsibilities

• Handle enquiries by phone and email, asking the right questions and gathering technical details.
• Prepare quotations with suppliers and build quotes in HubSpot and Sage.
• Follow up quotes, handle re-quotes, and convert opportunities to orders.
• Make outbound calls to uncover upcoming requirements and drive opportunities.
• Present products in virtual meetings and collaborate with directors on larger accounts.
• Log activity and pipeline in HubSpot CRM with attention to accuracy.
