Job Description:

Salary: £60,000 - £75,000 plus annual bonus, company vehicle.

• Base site with home working.
• Occasional travel to company assets in your local region (South East UK). (roughly 50/50)

Job Purpose:

Outsource UK's client is a global bulk liquid storage and transportation firm looking to hire Control and Instrumentation Engineers to join their regional team. You will manage, maintain, and improve control and instrumentation systems, ensuring safe and efficient operations, providing technical support across various departments, and ensuring compliance with engineering standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• System Management: Maintain and optimize SCADA, PLC, DCS, and IACS systems.
• Installation & Commissioning: Supervise installation and commissioning of new systems or upgrades.
• Technical Support: Troubleshoot issues and support system maintenance, backup, and disaster recovery.
• Documentation: Prepare and review technical documents, specifications, and procedures.
• Vendor & Contractor Management: Coordinate troubleshooting and issue resolution with vendors and contractors.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

• Experience with control and instrumentation systems.
• Knowledge of DCS/PLC/SCADA system design, installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Ability to produce and review technical schematics, loop drawings, and specifications.
