Job Description:

Salary: £60,000 - £75,000 plus annual bonus, company vehicle.

• Base site with home working.
• Occasional travel to company assets in your local region (North West). (roughly 50/50)

Job Purpose:

Outsource UK’s client is a global bulk liquid storage and transportation firm looking to hire Control and Instrumentation Engineers regionally. You will manage, maintain, and improve control and instrumentation systems, ensuring safe and effective operations, providing technical support across various departments, and driving performance improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• System Management: Maintain and optimize SCADA, PLC, DCS, and IACS systems.
• Installation & Commissioning: Oversee installation and commissioning of control systems or upgrades.
• Technical Support: Troubleshoot and resolve instrumentation and control system issues, support system maintenance, backups, and disaster recovery.
• Documentation: Prepare and review technical documents, including specifications and procedures.
• Vendor & Contractor Management: Coordinate with vendors and contractors for troubleshooting and issue resolution.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

• Experience with control and instrumentation systems.
• Knowledge of DCS/PLC/SCADA design, installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Ability to review and produce technical schematics, loop drawings, and specifications.
