Job summary

MDA Space is seeking an Institutional Business Development Manager to drive opportunities in the UK and Europe from the Harwell office. You will nurture relationships with UKSA, UKRI, ESA and other institutional customers, shaping growth strategies and leading bid activities.

You will manage a cross-functional team, develop market intelligence, and coordinate with Canadian teams to align opportunities and pursuits. Hybrid work option available.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent (preferably in a space-related or technical discipline).
• Minimum 5+ years in a business development role within Space industry and institutional customers.
• Knowledge of space ecosystem and government/institutional organizations.

Responsibilities

• Grow company revenue by identifying and developing UK/European Institutional opportunities.
• Develop strategic partner networks to complement MDA Space capabilities.
• Create and manage a scalable opportunity pipeline to meet growth objectives.
• Lead capture activities, develop markets, win strategies and capture plans.
• Market the company capabilities to government customers and partners.
• Maintain pipeline visibility and provide market intelligence to teams.
