Job summary

Arden Personnel Limited is seeking an Installation Coordinator for a permanent, office-based role in Alcester, Warwickshire. The position involves planning and scheduling UK projects, coordinating a field-based engineer team, and acting as the main customer contact from order to completion.

You will ensure materials, equipment and site requirements are in place, manage site surveys, and drive performance against KPIs while maintaining documentation and health & safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule installation projects across the UK.
• Allocate work to Installation Engineers efficiently.
• Ensure materials, equipment, documentation and site requirements are in place before each job.
• Coordinate site surveys and resolve issues delaying delivery.
• Plan workloads and support a team of field-based engineers.
• Monitor performance, utilisation and productivity.
• Keep customers updated on installation dates and progress.
• Handle queries and escalations professionally and promptly.
• Maintain installation records and company systems, and produce reports.
• Ensure installations comply with health and safety legislation and training/certifications.

Hours: 8.00am - 4.30pm

Are you an organised coordinator who enjoys keeping projects, people and customers on track? We're recruiting an Installation Coordinator for our client, an established UK business based in Alcester.

You will plan and schedule installation projects across the UK. You'll also manage a team of field-based Installation Engineers and be the main point of contact for customers from order to completion.

The Installation Coordinator role

Planning and scheduling

• Schedule and coordinate installation projects throughout the UK
• Allocate work to Installation Engineers efficiently
• Make sure materials, equipment, documentation and site requirements are in place before each job
• Coordinate site surveys and resolve any issues that could delay delivery

Managing the engineer team

• Plan workloads and support a team of field-based engineers
• Monitor performance, utilisation and productivity

Customer service

• Keep customers updated on installation dates and progress
• Handle queries and escalations professionally and promptly

Admin, reporting and compliance

• Keep installation records and company systems up to date
• Track performance against KPIs and produce operational reports
• Make sure installations follow health and safety legislation, and that engineers hold the right training and certifications

What you'll need

• Experience in a scheduling, coordination, operations or project management role
• Experience managing field-based engineers or operational teams
• Excellent organisational and planning skills, and the ability to juggle several projects at once
• Confident communication with customers, engineers and suppliers
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Outlook and Teams

It would be great if you have:

• Experience in drainage, plumbing, construction, facilities management or commercial kitchens industries
• An understanding of contractor management and site health and safety
