Installation Electrician (Commercial)

Location: EAST LONDON / SOUTH EAST LONDON

Salary: £39,999 - £44,999 + company car + full benefits package.

Self-employed / CIS: £200 - £240 a day dependent on experience.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, including a 1-hour break. Flexible start & finish times possible.

Job Summary

We are seeking multiple skilled Installation Electricians to work on various commercial electrical installation projects. My client offers Permanent or Self-employed / CIS payment options. This role involves installing electrical containment systems such as conduit, trunking, tray, and basket, as well as wiring circuits and sub-main cabling.

Key Responsibilities

• Installing electrical containment systems
• Replacing and installing SPN and TPN distribution equipment
• Handling mains and sub-main cabling
• Conducting ELV and LV wiring

Duties

• Perform electrical installation, maintenance, and testing.
• Diagnose and report electrical faults.
• Interpret and apply site and electrical drawings.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Complete paperwork and use the Oneserve Application.
• Communicate with residents and clients effectively.
• Deliver customer service and participate in training.
• Support business changes and undertake additional duties as assigned.

KPIs

• Maintain high-quality standards.
• Care for equipment and PPE.
• Maintain company vehicles safely.
• Maintain a professional appearance with uniform and ID badge.

Skills & Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation.
• Preferably 18th edition (or 17th edition considered).
• ECS Gold Card.
• Asbestos Awareness certification.
• (Permanent only) Full UK driving license for at least 12 months.
