Job summary

RNN Group in Worksop is seeking a Teaching Assistant to support planning and delivery of high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment across courses. You will work with lecturers, tutors, and curriculum teams to empower learners, including those with SEND, to build independence and practical skills.

The role focuses on enabling progression into employment or further study, with responsibilities spanning classroom support, safeguarding, and collaboration across campuses.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning qualification (or willingness to work towards it).
• Level 2 Literacy and Numeracy qualifications (e.g., GCSE Grade C/4 or above).
• Up-to-date Safeguarding, Prevent, and Diversity and Inclusion.
• Current First Aid certificate (or willingness to work towards if required).
• Commitment to ongoing Continuing Professional Development (CPD).

Responsibilities

• Supervise and assist learners across various curriculum areas, ensuring their safety, inclusion, active participation, and positive well-being.
• Support planning and delivery of high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment.
• Report to the Curriculum Manager and collaborate with vocational teams.
• Monitor, record, and provide feedback on learners' incremental progress in knowledge, skills, and behaviours.
