Job summary

WHSmith is seeking a Team Leader to guide and motivate the store team to deliver outstanding customer service and achieve business objectives. The role focuses on creating a supportive environment where colleagues grow, feel valued, and perform to high standards.

You’ll lead from the front, build strong relationships, and support training while staying flexible to assist other nearby stores. Ensuring safety and legal compliance, you’ll foster a welcoming and inclusive store culture.

Qualifications

• Current/recent retail leadership experience with KPI awareness (e.g., ATV).
• Experience of proactively leading from the front and helping on the shop floor.
• Flexibility to support other stores in the area when needed.
• Ability to build strong relationships and communicate clearly and effectively.
• Experience of supporting employee training and development.
