Job summary

Ad Warrior Ltd in Fakenham is seeking a Sixth Form Academic Support Assistant to support students at Fakenham Academy. This fixed-term role runs 35 hours per week during term time plus one week, with an associated salary reflecting pro rata arrangement.

You will work with students with special educational needs, helping them access A level and BTEC Level 3 learning, and providing tailored academic support to promote independence and confidence.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a grade C/4 in English and Maths GCSE.
• Experience of academic study at Level 3 or higher.
• Experience of working with children of the relevant age in a school, college, care, health service, social care or youth environment.

Responsibilities

• Support specific students across Fakenham Sixth Form with a range of needs.
• Assist students access A level and BTEC Level 3 learning in the classroom.
• Provide tailored academic support during study periods and promote independence and confidence.

Education

GCSE English and Maths grade C/4 or above

Level 3 qualification or higher
