Job summary

Fakenham Academy is seeking a Sixth Form Academic Support Assistant to help students across the Sixth Form access A level and BTEC Level 3 learning in the classroom and to support them academically during study periods. The role requires a compassionate approach and a commitment to every child’s success.

You will work with teachers and pastoral staff to deliver tailored support, promote independence and confidence, and uphold professional standards for Teaching Assistants.

Qualifications

• Previous experience of working with young people or in an educational environment is desirable.
• Commitment to the success of every child and a compassionate approach are valued.

Responsibilities

• Help Sixth Form students access A level and BTEC Level 3 learning in the classroom.
• Provide tailored academic support during study periods and promote independence and confidence.
