Job summary

Academics in Worksop is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to support local primary schools on a temporary basis. You will provide one-to-one and small-group help, assist teachers with engaging lessons, and help create an inclusive, safe classroom environment.

The role requires an enhanced DBS check, right to work in the UK, and ideally six months in a classroom. Full training and ongoing CPD opportunities are available through Academics CPD platform.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Six months or more experience in a classroom setting.

Requirements of working as a Learning Support Assistant:

• Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant or in a similar role is desirable.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• An enhanced DBS certificate and the right to work in the UK.
• A Cache / NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning is desireable.
• Six months or more experience working within a classroom setting.
