Job summary

ISP School Battle in Battle, East Sussex, seeks an inspirational qualified teacher to work with KS3–4 pupils with SEMH/ASC. You will teach Science and Maths and contribute to the wider curriculum, with planning, assessment and safeguarding responsibilities.

The role requires QTS, SEN experience, and the ability to adapt teaching to individual needs; an enhanced DBS check is required, with the cost covered by ISP School Battle. This is a permanent full-time position during term time.

Qualifications

• QTS holder with successful teaching experience.
• SEN experience focusing on SEMH and ASC.
• Knowledge of national curriculum with Science and/or Maths.
• Understanding of therapeutic approaches to education.
• Ability to adapt teaching to meet children's needs.
• DBS check to be completed, cost covered by ISP School Battle.

Responsibilities

• Teaching at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
• Planning, preparing and presenting lessons for the whole ability range.
• Using a positive behaviour policy to hold children to account and foster responsible citizenship.
• Motivate students to access learning and thrive.
