Job summary

ISP School Battle, part of Polaris Education's Integrated Services Programme, is seeking an inspirational qualified teacher to educate and support 7-18-year-olds with SEMH and ASC needs across Key Stages 3 and 4. The role focuses on Science, Maths, and the wider curriculum in a nurturing, therapeutic setting.

You will plan and deliver engaging lessons, use the school's positive behaviour policy, and work to raise achievement while promoting resilience and aspiration.

Qualifications

• SEN experience with a focus on nurture for SEMH and ASC needs.
• Ability to adapt teaching to meet children's needs.
• Proven ability to offer dynamic and engaging lessons.
• Knowledge of the national curriculum, especially Science and/or Maths.

Responsibilities

• Teaching at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
• Planning, preparing and presenting lessons for the whole ability range
• Use positive behaviour policy to hold children to account and enable responsible citizenship
• Motivate children to access learning and develop a love of learning
