Marchant Recruitment is seeking a passionate Science Teacher for a secondary school in Harlow. You will plan and deliver engaging Biology, Chemistry and Physics lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping students understand concepts and apply science in practical contexts.

You will work within a supportive department, contribute to schemes of work, and differentiate for varied abilities while maintaining high expectations and strong classroom management.

Competenze

• Relevant teaching qualification with QTS or equivalent recognised status.
• Strong subject knowledge in Science and the ability to teach KS3/KS4.
• Knowledge of the relevant curriculum and assessment requirements.
• Understanding of practical Science and laboratory safety.
• Effective lesson planning, assessment and behaviour management skills.
• Legal right to work in the UK.

Mansioni

• Plan and teach Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Deliver relevant Biology, Chemistry and Physics content according to departmental requirements.
• Develop students' scientific knowledge, practical skills and understanding of experimental methods.
• Prepare demonstrations, investigations and learning resources that support curriculum objectives.
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
