Empowering Learning is seeking a dedicated Secondary School Teacher to inspire pupils across Derby and surrounding areas. You will deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum, adapting for SEND/EAL needs and promoting high standards in behaviour and attainment.

We welcome both Early Career and experienced teachers, with flexible full-time, part-time, and supply options and a supportive consultancy throughout the process.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of the secondary curriculum and assessment requirements.
• Proven ability to plan, deliver and differentiate engaging lessons.
• Strong classroom management and safeguarding awareness.
• Excellent communication with pupils, parents and colleagues.
• Commitment to continuing professional development and high standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver well-structured secondary lessons aligned to the National Curriculum.
• Differentiate teaching to meet diverse pupil needs, including SEND/EAL.
• Monitor and record pupil progress, providing timely feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to school improvement.
• Uphold safeguarding policies and promote pupil welfare.
