Job summary

Oldham College is seeking a Programme Tutor Science to deliver high-quality teaching, learning and assessment that enables students, including those with SEND, to achieve their potential. You will create an inclusive environment and contribute to maintaining high standards across the curriculum.

Interviews will be held on Thursday 1st October. We offer a supportive, inclusive environment with opportunities to develop and progress within the College community.

Qualifications

• Recognised teaching qualification at Level 5 or above.
• GCSE Maths and English at Grade 4/C or equivalent.
• Relevant vocational qualification at Level 3 or above.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality teaching, learning and assessment in line with curriculum requirements.
• Plan inclusive lessons meeting the needs of all learners, including SEND.
• Monitor student progress, attendance and engagement with timely feedback.
• Contribute to quality assurance and continuous improvement activities.
• Carry out duties in line with College policies including safeguarding and equality commitments.
