The St Lawrence Academy in Scunthorpe is seeking a dedicated Chaplain to provide spiritual, ethical and pastoral care across our school community. You will champion holistic development and wellbeing, lead worship in assemblies and major events, and work with teaching leads to embed moral reflection in everyday learning.

You will build links with local churches and faith leaders and support SIAMS inspections.

Formación

• Qualified with deep theological knowledge and experience in pastoral or chaplaincy with young people.
• Resilient and empathetic with high emotional resilience and non-judgmental support.
• Inclusive mindset with understanding of SEND, safeguarding, and student wellbeing.
• Creative communicator with strong speaking, writing, and IT skills.
• Ready to provide spiritual guidance to a vibrant school community.
• Pastoral champion offering confidential listening in personal challenges.
• Can lead uplifting worship for assemblies and major calendar events.
• Celebrates diversity and supports faith groups across SLA Trust.
• Creates sanctuary spaces across sites.
• Launches enrichment groups and links with local churches and faith leaders.
• Collaborate with Curriculum to embed moral reflection and support SIAMS inspections.
