Job summary

St Thomas Aquinas Catholic Multi Academy Trust in Leicestershire is seeking a faith-filled chaplain to support young people and staff in Catholic schools. You will help pupils develop their relationship with God and with others, plan and lead prayer, and lead retreat sessions across several primary schools in the trust.

You will be part of the CMAT Chaplaincy team, collaborating with Headteachers and central staff.

Qualifications

• Must be a practising Catholic as this is a reserved post.
• Experience working with young people in a school context is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support staff and students in planning and leading prayer.
• Lead retreat sessions for students across trust schools.
• Help young people explore and develop their relationship with God and with others.
• Support staff in their roles as educators in Catholic schools.
