Qualifications

• QTS is essential; UK primary teaching experience preferred.
• Enhanced DBS (Update Service) or willingness to apply.
• Ability to tailor lessons to varied pupil needs.
• Strong classroom management and safeguarding knowledge.
• Collaborative approach with SENCOs and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Adapted Curriculum Planning: tailor high-impact lessons per National Curriculum.
• Core Subject Mastery: engage with maths, phonics, and primary language teaching.
• Classroom Team Guidance: support and mentor teaching assistants.
• Progress Tracking: record milestones and celebrate growth.
• Multidisciplinary Liaison: work with SENCOs and leaders to support SEND/EAL.
• Parental Partnerships: maintain proactive home–school communication.
