Job summary

Academics is recruiting a Teaching and Learning Assistant to support pupils across primary ages in a range of partner schools. The role is available either part-time or full-time with a September 2026 start date, delivering daily support to learners with varying needs including SEND and EHCPs.

You will work with class teachers, use your own initiative, and contribute to creating calm, inclusive learning environments while upholding safeguarding and safeguarding policies across settings.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting primary pupils.
• NVQ Level 3 in TA or higher.
• Experience with SEND children preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with varying needs.
• Collaborate with class teachers and other staff.
• Build relationships with staff and students.
• Take initiative and follow guidance from teachers.
• Motivate pupils with SEND to grow and flourish.
